Are there companies in Toronto that will find me an apartment before I move there?

I do not have a lot of money and need an “affordable” ($1000 max for furnished 1BR or Bachelor) apartment, but I am willing to pay a company to ensure I have a place to live when I get there, and I don’t get ripped off.
Since I’m not looking for a high-end condo, are there companies that will help with this? Any other advice for securing an apartment before I get there?
You can check with some Realtors that operate in the area where you would like to live. Some landlords including myself list our rentals with their Real Estate companies. I do not have any in Toronto. Hope this helps.
