Most condos start at $199 000 for about 500-600 SF.

It really depends on where in Toronto and what you are looking for. You can get something as low as $140k to $10M.
For something in the core that is not closet size I’d say $800k to $1M.
http://www.mls.ca allows you to search for what you want and will give you a better idea.
Where in Toronto are you looking? If you’re looking for a condo in downtown, then chances are, they will be more expensive that condos in Scarborough. You can check out craigslist for listings. It gets updated quite often.
They cost way too much.
You’re looking at around $200K to start and most of those are either conversions or really small. For a new place it starts around $300K and can go as high as $10M.
