@krashk00l there is a law that if the foreign companies want to open their business in Cambodia, they have to hire Cambodian people. Also the house, foreign cant own a house in Cambodia unless they have a Cambodia citizen. However, foreigners can own a condo up to 70% in one building. If more foreigners more business open in Cambodia.
@krashk00l Did you know about the story behind that? every story has a bright side and the dark side. The developers gave them the money already to buy their land from them, but those people took the money and not leave the land for developers, they sold to other people to get more money and then run aways. Moreover, most of those developers are not foreign companies, they are Khmer companies.
Any investors/business that is cooperating with current government CPP, it is because they are getting a very HUGE advantage over it. It is not for the good of the people or country, it is only good for themselves and their families in short term. They don’t care before, they don’t care now. The government pockets everything to themselves and to other high officials. CPP is runned by ignorant, selfish mafias. For these people, if they can sell Cambodia to make themself very rich, they will.
@s1prark hey bird-brain, there is a different between owning some business and have khmer works there, for instance manufacturing warehouses etc, and a different between taking control / dominating a HUGE part of our land, building condeminiums, apartments etc.,etc. Open your eyes and realize what is going on around it. Haven’t you heard that they are stripping locals of their homes and force to homeless for these projects?? How would u feel if that was your family or you? This is colonization!!
